You can buy almost anything on eBay, including lots and lots of Troll toys. Those little plastic people with their crazy hair get all over the place. eBay’s latest ad goes alongside the release of the DreamWorks’ movie ‘Trolls World Tour’, and tells the tale of how a small present for a child turns into the obsession of a 34 year old still living at home surrounded by Trolls of all shapes and sizes. We created a filmic soundtrack to accompany the story through its twists and turns. Orchestral sweeps, eerie celesta and characterful woodwinds take us on a journey through a home where everything has been sold on eBay to fund our protagonist’s Trolls fandom. We balanced the music with the storytelling to accentuate the changing emotions throughout the ad.
